Angelina taking 5 and relaxing beside the deck as she waits for either one of the pesky squirrels or some hapless Butterfly to come by. She is always dainty and ladylike as she waits.

More??

Angelina is finding it hard to get around all the white stuff and is pretty much ready for spring as well... it's March right?

Winter Shminter

Angelina is less than thrilled with all this white stuff, and is cautiously making her way around the yard. Atleast it's really easy to find the monsters in the snow.

OCD with a ball

Angelina has not slowed down at all this year with her fascination of playing fetch. Of course this being a cat ( and not a dog ), she directs the action by bringing the ball to where she wants to throw it from, and then points herself in the direction she wants you to throw it.... and does this for quite awhile until either she gets bored or distracted.

Play time

Angelina and Houdini play some more in the back, leading to another big chase scene around the yard and through the house. Atleast at the end of the day the kitties are usually exhausted and are pretty low key.

Hiding amongst the peppers

Angelina keeps track of the veggies and has been on a mission annihilating many a butterfly or other flying bugs this year.... and bringing most of her " trophies" into the house to share with us.

Spring has Sprung!

Spring has FINALLY sprung and the trio are out sniffing and checking out the first signs of spring. The tulips are on their way, some green grass is poking up and the first buds are appearing.
Angelina, Houdini and Romeo have been taking advantage of the warmth we have been having for the past few days.

Serendipity

Serendipity is the art of making an unsought finding, and that's how Romeo ( as we have named him ) made his way into the home. This little beast is about 9 months old, and has been with us for about a month now after the infamous Pigeon episode (long story). After checking around and not finding his home, he has been adopted into the fold and is making new friends with Angelina and Houdini.
He also bears a striking resemblance and very similar personality to Ninja which is weird in it's self, hence the often used phrase of it must be serendipity as he is completely at home with us and has been from the very moment he came through the door.
Ain't life strange and wonderful ?

Winter Wonderland

This new world of snow is quite fascinating, and Angelina is still surveying the territory to see what kind of trouble she can get into.

Bowl full of Kitty

Angelina is daring and curious and has decided to camp out on the top of the cupboards to keep a better eye on the action in the kitchen. as you can see, natural camouflage is an amazing thing -- it increases an animal's chances of survival in their environment.

Smells like Snow to me...

Ninja is the courageous one, and checks out the snow and the decorations while Angelina & Houdini are not sure about all this new stuff.... and hide in the apartment.

Hopefully there will be lots of snow for the kitties to play in this week.

Angelina has been watching a bit too much Buffy the Vampire Slayer as she has finished with Ninja and is looking for her next victim. 

Keeping track of things

Houdini and Angelina keep on eye on their territory from the top of the BBQ. Houdini seems more concerned with Air Traffic while Angelina keeps an eye out for ground invasions. 

Taking advantage of some sunny weather

The beasts are taking advantage of any nice time outside as the nights and days are getting cooler. Angelina enjoys a quiet moment when she is not escaping the yard to check out the neighbour's place. Ninja tries to keep an eye on things but that doesn't always help... 

Ready for a close up

Angelina is ready for her close up as the little terror keeps things in check in the Jungle. 

The bonding continues

The 3 are getting along great, and Houdini checks out what is happening with Ninja as Angelina looks on. Look at the big fluffy tail! 

Afternoon Grazing

Angelina enjoys some of the lawn as she grazes for awhile in the afternoon. Although cats seem to be carnivores, lawn munching seems to be pretty natural too. 

Sneaking down the back stairs

Angelina continues her daily "running of the Squirrels" and comes back down to see what other trouble she can get into. You can see the huge leaves on the Morning Glory on the right, and the Squash that is growing on the left. 

Angelina's Dental Program (part 1)

Angelina has discovered that she can reach the fishing line (placed around the yard to impede Pigeons) from the top of the BBQ and has decided to floss.

Angelina is constantly looking for fun and excitement, and Houdini is always an easy target. The 2 spend many and hour each day running around the house and yard.
